Wow ... 110 kids looks like even more than it sounds.
Saturday was fun! It could have been warmer for the spectators but it didn't rain and for that we should be glad.
All but one team had a team picture taken .... eventually I want to get a good one of them all. I need to do some re-dos as some kids were missing. Question ... I'd like to post them here but if there is major opposition to that then I'll have to come up with something else. Email please, if you have an opinion.
Now for the scores from Saturday ....
Division One
Golden Animals won 13-7 against the White Caps
Orange Tigers had a 7 -6 win against the Purple Earthquakes
Division Two
Blue Jays took the lead 1-0 against the Red foxes
Green Crocs (Crocodiles ... not sure which it is) won 4-2 against Golden Superstars
Division Three
There was 3 all tie between Blue Bombers and Red Flames
WOW!!! 106 Kids!!
I am happy to be done the paperwork and seeing the nice weather today I am hoping for some nice weather next week for the start to another soccer season. Here's hoping we don't start out like last year!!
See you next week!
PS I tried to figure out how to post the team lists but so far it is a no go! Sorry!
It is that time again to start thinking about Spring Soccer.
The fun will take place Saturday mornings from 10:30am - 12:30pm at John Calvin School.
The cost will be $20 per child (open to children in grades K-7).
Coaches and Referees will receive one free child for their time and energy.
Remember space is limited so contact us asap; first come, first serve!! (this is especially important for those who have children in multiple divisions)
Email us at eastvalleykidssoccer AT hotmail DOT com with your children’s name and grade and/or if you are willing to coach or referee.
We hope to have all volunteers and players signed up before March 30, 2012 so we can start Saturday, April 14, 2012.
Looking forward to another fun year!
